The Waiting Room is playwright Lisa Loomer’s imaginative and fearless examination of medical ethics, societal expectations and the ageless quest for ideal physical beauty. Summer seems like a distant memory. The current semester is in full swing as are the CVPA events. We decided to take a breather and remember those months past by catching you up with how some of our faculty spent those months.
Dr. Richard Bay abd Dr. Carlee Bradbury, Department of Art faculty members, won Radford University Foundation Awards.
The Department of Theatre and Cinema announces its casts for three fall semester theatre productions. The plays are “The Waiting Room”, “The Zoo Story”, and “The Cat in the Hat.”
The Madison Trio is the first of three concerts in the 2015-16 season by the Radford University Department of Music. This concert starts at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 17 in the Performance Hall in the Covington Center.
Compañia Flamenca José Porcel brings “Flamenco Fire,” a colorful performance honoring the art of traditional flamenco in its golden age to Radford University Sept. 29.
Design management major Chloe Hughes is a student with a plan. Rather than just the desire to earn a degree, she wants more. This transfer student from Virginia Western Community College wishes to feel challenged in order to better herself.
