That is exactly why we are here - we hope that you will find the necessary resources to learn more about the financial aid process and how it can help you.  We have created the RU Guide to Applying for Financial Aid (PDF) for you to print and use as a resource during the application process.  Often people find our Frequently Asked Questions helpful.

Important Things to Remember:

  • RU's FAFSA priority filing date is February 15th, but we will still process your FAFSA if it is received after the priority filing date
  • Everyone has a different set of circumstances and every FAFSA may require a unique review process.  It is very important to monitor your Financial Aid Requirements & Awards channels on the portal to ensure you have completed all your specific requirements.  You can access your specific Financial Aid Information by logging into your My RU Account, https://my.radford.edu and going to the My Accounts tab.

  • The Financial Aid Office will send all correspondence to the email address submitted on your FAFSA until the start of school.  Once school begins all correspondence will be sent to your radford.edu address.  Make sure to check your email on MyRU!

With that said, enjoy this exciting time!  We look forward to the opportunity to work with you during the financial aid application process.  It is our hope that you will find all the necessary information on our site, but if you can't find the information you are looking for please contact our office so we can make sure your questions are answered.
