All residence halls except Ingles and Pocohontas Halls are closed during Thanksgiving, Winter and Spring breaks during the academic year. All residents must vacate the halls by the designated time/date and cannot return until the halls are opened. Please note that this is for residents' safety and exceptions are not permitted.

SPRING break

Residents must leave campus for break by 5 p.m. on Friday, March 8, 2013.

Residents needing to stay past 5 p.m. must get permission from their Resident Director in advance.

No students may remain in the halls past noon on Saturday, March 9, 2013 (except those in break housing). No exceptions will be made.

The residence halls will re-open at noon on Sunday, March 17, 2013. Students will not be able to access the residence halls until then.

Break Housing (Ingles & Pocahontas halls)

Residents of Ingles and Pocahontas Halls may stay during breaks for a fee of $15 per night. The Athletic Department makes arrangements for athletes who are required to stay. They are not assessed a fee.

Regardless of reason, all residents staying during breaks must complete the Break Housing Form and return it to their Resident Director by the deadline indicated on the form. Residents should contact their Resident Director to obtain a Break Housing Form.
