Radford University is nestled in southwestern Virginia's New River Valley of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The area provides abundant recreation, including kayaking, fishing and tubing on the New River; hiking or bicycling on one of the region's dozens of trails; or simply taking in nature nearly anywhere in the area.
