Position Description:

The Department of Economics of the College of Business and Economics at Radford University invites applicants for a full-time tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Economics beginning in August, 2013.
Primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate principles courses and applied courses in the applicant’s specialization. Preference would be given to those applicants with quantitative or analytical skills, those with and an interest in technological change (innovation and invention), or those with and interest in economic history. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Economics or be completing the degree requirements before August 2013. For those satisfying the research requirement, the teaching load is three courses per semester. Commitment to superior teaching is required. The College of Business and Economics is AACSB accredited; applicants should be able to demonstrate that they are academically qualified (based on their research and doctorate degree).

Radford University has an opening for a Director of a new applied Doctoral Program in Education for School and Community Change.  The doctoral program will prepare those who wish to advance as educators and educational and community leaders in diverse settings for work in K-12 education, higher education, and community service fields.  This is a cohort, hybrid, on-line program.  The program focuses on understanding complex school/community issues from a local/global context whose graduates will work for collaborative, positive social change. Counselor Educator:  One full-time Special Purpose Assistant Professor to serve in a nationally accredited program.
