Summer 2013 and Wintermester 2013-14 Registration Times

Summer 2013 registration began with Phase I of Spring 2013 registration and will continue through the last day to add/drop classes for the given summer term.

Wintermester 2013-14 registration begins with Phase I of Fall 2013 registration and will continue through 4 p.m. on December 18.

Phased Registration

Undergraduate student registration is prioritized according to student classification, e.g., seniors register before juniors, juniors register before sophomore, etc., and is conducted in “phases”.  Priority registration will remain the same, though phased registration has undergone significant changes.  Undergraduate registration is conducted in two phases:

  • Phase I: All undergraduate students, in good academic standing, will have 48 hours to register for up to 18 credit hours.  This phase will be prioritized and will last for two weeks.

  • Phase II: This phase is primarily intended for schedule adjustment, and to allow those students permitted to carry an overload to add additional courses.  Start times for Phase II will also be prioritized, but all students will have the same end time.

Individual student registration times are displayed in the registration channel in the academics tab in the MyRU Portal.

***Graduate students do not have priority or phased registration.  All graduate students will begin registering the first day of registration and can register through the census date of the given term.
