RADFORD -- Radford University’s 2009 Winter Commencement Ceremonies will be held on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 18 and 19 in Preston Hall’s Bondurant Auditorium.

Two separate graduation ceremonies will be held for the estimated 400 undergraduate degree candidates on Saturday, Dec. 19.  Ceremonies for the Colleges of Business and Economics, Visual and Performing Arts, Waldron College of Health and Human Services and Science and Technology will be held at 10 a.m.  The Colleges of Humanities and Behavioral Sciences and Education and Human Development will hold their ceremonies at 1 p.m. 

The Pinning Ceremony for the School of Nursing will be on Friday, Dec. 18 at 2 p.m. in the Bondurant Auditorium.  Hooding Ceremonies for the College of Graduate and Professional Studies will follow at 6 p.m.

As a result of seating limitations, undergraduates will be allowed six tickets for the Saturday graduation ceremonies.  Undergraduate candidates can pick up tickets for their ceremonies beginning on Friday, Dec. 11 at the Registrar’s Office in Heth Hall.  The Graduate Hooding Ceremony will require separate tickets that will be available at the Graduate College in Lucas Hall.
