Tuition, Fees, and Payment

The cost to participate in the Accelerate program is estimated to be = $1,173 for an in-state undergraduate student and $2,760 for an out-of-state undergraduate student. The total cost represents the per credit hour rate multiplied by the number of credits (i.e., 3) for the course taken during Accelerate (i.e., $391 x 3 = $1,173 for an in-state undergraduate student). This cost covers the tuition and fees and a detailed breakdown of how these costs are determined can be found in the table below and on the Student Accounts website.

In addition, there are also course material costs required for some of the classes. Please check the Online Classes page to evaluate any possible class materials costs.

Accelerate will be treated as a standalone semester with payment due by Wednesday, July 16, 2014.

Financial aid from federal and state sources will not be available for the Accelerate program as you will be limited to one course for this term. Due to the financial commitment required to participate in Accelerate, it is critical that this decision is made in coordination with your family. If you are a Financial Aid recipient and need additional information to make your decision, please contact the Financial Aid office online or at (540) 831-5408.

Drop/Add will be open until Wednesday, July 30, 2014. Class sizes will be limited to 20 students. The course format will use the Learning Management system (D2L), which students will receive training on prior to the start of Accelerate.
