Applications for admission cannot be considered until all required documents outline in the checklist [PDF] are received by the Radford University Office of Admissions. All documents become the property of Radford University and cannot be sent elsewhere or returned.

All documents must be originals or certified copies that beat the original stamp and seal. Please send all documents to one of the following addresses:

All applications require a $50 non-refundable application fee. Application fees must be paid in US dollars online or via US/International money order. Applications will be not processed without this fee.

Application Deadlines

The following are deadlines to complete your application, including all academic credentials and immigration documents:

Summer Sessions: February 1

Fall Semester: April 1

Spring: August 1

All students are considered for admission on a rolling basis meaning the earlier you apply, the sooner you receive an admissions decision. You can expect an admissions decision six to eight weeks after your completed application is received in the Radford University Admissions Office.

Acceptance Notification

Once a decision has been made on your file, you will receive your acceptance letter and I-20 documents in an acceptance package from Radford University.

At this point it is crucial to make your deposit to reserve your spot in the incoming freshman class. For students who plan to live on-campus, and additional deposit is necessary to reserve your room on campus.

The deadline to make a deposit is May 1. However, it is crucial that you act as soon as possible with respect to your deposit because priority for housing is given based off of the date of deposit.

Room deposits are refundable for the fall term only if written notification is received prior to May 1.

Potential additional costs:

  • Additional expenses for a spouse: $4,000 per year
  • Additional expenses for children: $3,000 per year
  • Tuition and Fees are based on full-time enrollment of 12-18 credit hours per semester. Undergraduate tuition is assessed at $841.00 per credit hour.
  • Summer session costs are not included.
  • Health insurance coverage is based on 12 month coverage.
  • Room and Board cost estimates are based on flex mean plan. Several meal plans are available at varying costs.

The official I-20 estimate for the 2013-2014 academic year is $35,535

Financial aid for international students is not currently available through Radford University. However, some academic scholarships, athletic scholarships or campus jobs are available to help supplement tuition costs.
