NOTICE:

NOTICE OF PROPOSED BYLAW AMENDMENTS TO RADFORD UNIVERSITY BOARD OF VISITORS BYLAWS.

Pursuant to Section 1 of Article III of the current Bylaws of the Radford University Board of Visitors, thirty (30) days prior notice of any proposed changes to the Bylaws must be provided.  The Radford University Board of Visitors (“Board”) will consider the redlined changes to the bylaws, which are attached hereto and made a part hereof  (click on this link for the redlined version of the proposed changes (pdf)),  at a meeting to be held on July 18, 2013, at The Mason Inn, on the campus of George Mason University, 4352 Mason Pond Drive, Fairfax, Virginia.  The majority of the changes are required to be made by the legislation passed by the 2013 Virginia General Assembly and signed into law by Governor McDonnell. The remaining amendments are being proposed after a review of the By-laws by the members of the Governance and Administration Committee of the Board of Visitors and by the members of the Board.  

 The Board may adopt the amendments as written, or after discussion, may alter the proposed changes before adoption.
