Career, Lifestyle & Financial Fitness Fair

Who should attend: recent college graduates, job seekers, those interested in local recreational opportunities and individuals seeking financial guidance. Over 50 organizations will be represented.
Sponsored by: Economic Development Offices of the City of Roanoke, Roanoke County and City of Salem and others.
The event will be sponsored by The Renick Group, National College, WDBJ 7, The City of Roanoke Department of Economic Development, County of Roanoke and City of Salem. Exhibitors at the event include companies offering jobs, entrepreneurial organizations showcasing resources to assist with business startups, lifestyle organizations with a diverse mix of social and cultural amenities and financial information to assist attendees with awareness and knowledge of resources to help them move forward with their finances in 2013.
“Our recent career fairs have been very successful and we continue our responsibility to grow the events with new entities to provide opportunities for job seekers to interact with employers and for individuals to learn about resources in the community” says Economic Development Specialist, Lisa Soltis. “We hope to reach individuals living in the Roanoke Region, as well as those considering a move back to Roanoke and the recent December graduates entering the job market. The Career, Lifestyle and Financial Fitness Fair provides the opportunity for job seekers to meet face-to-face with employers to learn of available positions and the best way to proceed with the application process.” Over 50 organizations will be represented at the January 8th event.
