Dr. Zeakes received her  B.S. in Physical and Health Education from Kansas State University, M.S. from Radford University in the area of Physical and Health Education and.  Dr. Zeakes is currently the chair of the Exercise, Sport, and Health Education Department  (2003-present).  Her expertise is in the area of Health Education and has received the Outstanding College/University Health Educator of the Year Award from the Virginia Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance.
