Readings and Events
April 8: Don Cunningham, among others, will present the 2008 RU Faculty Lecture Series. Don will present on “Law and Order in the Age of the Samurai.” The presentation is scheduled 3:30-5:00 in the Hurlburt Auditorium.
April 10: Rick Van Noy will present from his forthcoming book, A Natural Sense of Wonder: Connecting Kids with Nature Through the Seasons. To attend, you must register with the Faculty Development Center. The presentation is scheduled 12:00-1:00 in the Radford Room in the library.
April 10: R. T. Smith, Lexington author and editor of Shenandoah will be on campus. He will discuss submissions to literary magazines at 4:00 in the Radford Room in the library. At 7:30, he will read from his poetry and fiction in the Hurlburt Auditorium.
April 16: Thomas Coleman creative writing award winners will read their works, starting at 7:30 in the Radford Room in the library.
April 24: A reading celebrating the posthumous release of All There Is to Keep—a collection of poetry by Rita Riddle—will be held in the Flossie Martin gallery at 7:00 p.m. Many special guests will attend to contribute.
