Hispanic Heritage Month Guitar Concert
Plan to attend the Hispanic Heritage Month Guitar Concert featuring the music of Spain and Latin America performed by guitar students and faculty of the Department of Music. The event will be on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 from 8:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. in the Bonnie Auditorium. RU guitar students will present a "musical rainbow" reflective of the great diversity of musical styles. On the program are some of the most representative composers of the Spanish and Latin American guitar such as Isaac Albinez, Joaquin Rodrigo, Leo Brouwer, Maximo Diego Pujol, Astor Piazzolla, and Heitor Villa-Lobos.
