Alumna Katie Lawson publishes article in the Journal of Applied Social Psychology with Dr. Hilary Lips
Alumna Katie Lawson publishes article in the Journal of Applied Social Psychology with Dr. Hilary Lips titled, The role of self-perceived agency and job attainability in women’s impressions of successful women. Katie Lawson is from Lawton, MI, and received her B.A. in Psychology from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland and her M.A. from Radford University. She is currently obtaining her doctorate in Human Development and Family Studies at Penn State University. Dr. Lips is a Psychology professor and the Director of the Center for Gender Studies at Radford University. Dr. Lips has published numerous articles in the past and has written several books dealing with gender studies as well. She is currently on sabbatical this semester, but will resume her position as Chair of the Psychology Department when she returns in the fall.
