Doctoral Program Receives Best Practices in Rural Health Award

The Doctoral program in Counseling Psychology at Radford University was named the recipient of the Virginia Rural Health Association’s Best Practices in Rural Health Award. This honor “is given annually by the Virginia Rural Health Association to recognize a program or institution that exemplifies commitment and service to the advancement of rural health in Virginia.” Dr. Jim Werth and doctoral candidate Jennifer Stroup will be attending the VRHA Conference on October 8th & 9th to accept the award on behalf of the program.
