Prior to your arrival on campus, if you or anyone in your party has a disability and/or needs special accommodation, please fill out the Disability Accommodation Online Form. On Commencement Saturday, DRO staff will be available at the seating entrance of Moffett Lawn by parking lot DD.
Arriving on campus
Guests with a visible valid handicapped placard or plate should park in Lot DD, Lot I and for overflow, Lot M. Golf carts will be available to bring guests with limited mobility from Lot DD, Lot M and Lot I to the main ceremony. Guests with limited mobility who will attend the Main Ceremony and/or the College of Business and Economics (COBE) ceremony are encouraged to park in the Burlington Lot. An express transit will be running to and from the Burlington Lot continuously to Waldron Hall Circle beginning at 7:30 a.m. until 30 minutes after the last ceremony concludes.
Seating at the Main Commencement Ceremony
Space will be reserved for individuals using wheel chairs and individuals with limited mobility that have filled out a Disability Accommodation Request Form. Seating for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing that have filled out a Disability Accommodation Request Form will be located near the sign language interpreter at the front of Moffett Lawn, near the stage. Seating is limited, so please indicate on the Disability Accommodation Request Form the name of the one (1) guest you will have sitting with you.
The main ceremony will be streamed live on the Radford University website. On the day of the ceremony, visit www.radford.edu to find a link to the live stream.
Golf carts will be available to transport guests with limited mobility from the main ceremony to the individual college ceremonies on- campus. Shuttle services will be provided from the main ceremony to the individual college ceremonies at Cupp Stadium and the Dedmon Center, for guests in wheelchairs or with limited mobility.
