Rehearsal Spaces

In addition to those in the individual departments there are three rehearsal spaces in Trinkle Hall available to CVPA students. These spaces are officially booked for certain classes and production rehearsals but are also open to use by Trinkle residents, faculty and other individuals. The rooms are Trinkle B01, B04, and B05.

Email Reservations

For those wishing to use one of the spaces, there are two ways to make a reservation. You may send your specific date and time requests to the CVPA at cvpa411@radford.edu. Please provide the name of the primary contact for the reservation, the purpose for using the room, an email address, and phone number.

To change the date and time of a reservation after it has been made, email the CVPA (cvpa411@radford.edu) as soon as possible. This should be done at least a week prior to the date requested. A confirmation or denial of the request will be returned to the requestor via email.

Onsite Reservations

You may sign up onsite to use a space. Please check the printed schedules posted near the entrance of each space. The space is available unless otherwise noted on the schedule. Please sign your name on the time slot you wish to reserve.

General Guidelines:

Academic and production needs take precedence over others. In the event an unforeseen need should arise, other reservation holders will be notified and asked to find an alternate space.

Do not remove a posted schedule or cross out another person’s reservation.

Please be courteous and respectful to those working in the spaces around you.

In B01, before entering the space, street shoes must be removed in order to preserve the Marley dance floor.

In B05, only quiet activities are allowed after 10:00 p.m.

In all three rooms take care not to drag or push furniture across the flooring.

If furniture is moved from one room to another please return it to where it was found.

Leave the room orderly and free of trash and personal belongings.

Radford University and the College of Visual and Performing Arts are not responsible for items left unattended in the rehearsal spaces.

In the event of a problem while using the space contact the Trinkle Resident Director for immediate assistance.  All other inquiries should be directed to the CVPA.
