2015 Spring Commencement Awards

It was a beautiful day for graduation. The sun shined on Radford University’s May 9, 2015 Spring Commencement.

Outstanding student awards

Eight students received outstanding student plaques from the CVPA. Those who received graduate awards were: Aaron Forrester (MFA in art), Robert Weintraut (MA in music) and Allison Longworth (MS in Music). Undergraduates were: Keela Dooley (art), Kayleigh Long (dance), SeDell Harman (design), Chris Livernois (music) and Lauren Faulkner (theatre).

Distinguished faculty awards

Two faculty members from the Department of Art received honors from Radford University: Carlee Bradbury, associate professor of art history, and Richard Bay, professor of art education. Bradbury won the 2015 Distinguished Faculty Advising Award. Bay was honored with the Distinguished Creative Scholar Award. They will receive their awards at the 2015 fall convocation ceremony.
