Coming to Bondurant Auditorium on March 21, Grammy Nominated jazz pianist Judy Carmichael is considered one of the leading interpreters of stride piano and swing music in the world. She has written two books on stride piano and tours extensively throughout the world performing and lecturing on jazz. Judy Carmichael produces and hosts her own public radio series, Judy Carmichael’s Jazz Inspired airing locally on Public Radio WVRU 89.9FM. She is also a Steinway artist and is proud to celebrate Radford University’s new status as an All-Steinway School. Ms. Carmichael’s CDs and music books are available at www.judycarmichael.com. This event is co-sponsored by Public Radio WVRU.
