Peer Counselor Opportunity - Summer 2014
The Financial Aid Office would like to hire a peer counselor that is interested in assisting with general office operations and working with financial aid applicants.
Available hours: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Application deadline for Summer 2014 is April 18 by 5 pm. Preferred start date will be May 12, 2014.
Job Responsibilities - Peer counselor’s prime responsibility will be to answer the phones for the Financial Aid office. Answering inquirers from parents and students regarding their financial aid documentation and awards will be a large part of the position. This position will also have times when they will serve at the front desk with the same duties of answering questions from parents and students. This position will also be responsible for collecting the mail daily for the Financial Aid office, along with assisting counseling with day to day filing, alphabetizing and organizing tasks.
Students must possess strong customer service skills, telephone etiquette, and ability to handle a high volume of calls and visitors to our office.
Student's interested must be returning for the Fall 2014-2015 Semester.

Summer Work Study Positions
Work study positions are now open for all Summer 2014 semesters for the filing area in the Financial Aid Office. Job listing is as follows, alphabetizing, filing, moving files and shredding. Student must be taking at least 3 credit hours in the semester that you wish to work. Student must also show valid I-9 identification documents before beginning work. Pay rate will be at $7.25, with a total of 12 hours of work per week.
