About the Foundation

The Radford University Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and was established in 1973 to advance and further the aims and purpose of Radford University. It is operated exclusively for raising, investing, and administering private gift funds, including endowments and real property, for the benefit of the university. The Radford University Foundation is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.

The fundraising programs of the university are managed separately through the Radford University Office of Advancement.

For more information about how the Foundation operates, please view our policies and the public documents available on this site.

The Investment Committee of the Foundation Board of Directors has chosen BNY Mellon to provide a majority of the investment management consulting services for the Radford University Foundation. In addition to a few other smaller investment partners, the student-run investment group, SMIPO, manages a portion of the Foundation’s endowment.
