The Greenhouse Advisory Committee (GAC) is composed of faculty members who have research, education, and outreach interests in the Greenhouse. The Committee members serve as liaisons to collect information on the ways the Greenhouse should be used by the Biology Department, the University, and the extended community outside the University relative to these interests.
While most business pertaining to the Greenhouse will be coordinated by the Manager, the GAC meets regularly to discuss and make recommendations on the needs and priorities of the Greenhouse in policy and procedure issues, future facility improvements, the Greenhouse budget, specimen selection, space allocation, and other Greenhouse use considerations.
The GAC Members are:
Darrell White – Department of Biology (Greenhouse Manager / GAC Chair)
David Horton - Assistant to the Dean (CSAT)
Steve Lenhart – Department of Geology
Pat Mikesell – Department of Biology (Professor Emeritus)
Tara Phelps-Durr – Department of Biology
Orion Rogers – College of Science and Technology (Dean) / Department of Biology
Christine Small – Department of Biology
