Study abroad program: Biology 481 with Dr. Hagen and Galápagos Islands: Spring Break 2011

Studying abroad was the most wonderful experience that I have gone through in college. It allowed me to experience a different culture in a place that Biology majors dream of going to. The Galápagos Islands was the perfect place for me to study abroad, because it allowed me to see what Charles Darwin saw many years ago when he made his evolutionary discoveries. Everything about my trip was excellent- the hotels, the food, the tour guides, and of course all of the activities we did! Everyday we went hiking and snorkeling. I could not ask for a better trip.

I studied in London for four months as an exchange student. I had the amazing opportunity to meet other international students and travel to six other countries while abroad. I would encourage anyone who is interested in travel and other cultures to study abroad! I leaned more about myself in four months than in any other time in my life. I met amazing people who I am still in contact with today. I would love to talk to any student that is interested in semester exchange programs because I have the experience and knowledge to guide them to the right program!
