Before completing this online study abroad awards application, please review it first. You will be required to provide an essay explaining your financial need, why you want to go on this program, and what you expect to gain. Your statement should not be more than 500 words.

Note: If you have received a previous study abroad award, you are ineligible for awards.

Please read the following statement and requirements carefully before accepting these terms and submitting your application:

“I hereby attest that all of the information I have provided in this application is accurate to the best of my knowledge. I give my consent for the International Education Center to examine my academic and conduct records. I understand that studying abroad is a privilege, not a right, and that this privilege may be denied to students who have been found guilty of either a single serious violation of the Student Conduct Code or of multiple minor violations, especially if those violations involve drugs or alcohol.”

I agree to write a one-page essay within 30 days after my return describing how I benefited from this experience.

I understand that if I receive one of these awards and do not go on the program, I will notify the International Education Center and the award will be given to a runner-up student.
