Radford University Student Health Services is a fully accredited healthcare facility that is affiliated with Carilion Health Systems. All medical staff are licensed by the state of Virginia and all providers are nationally certified.
The health center is located on the ground floor of Moffett Hall and is available to all registered students with a health record on file. Make an appointment by calling (540) 831–5111.
Your student health service fee covers:
- Visits for illnesses and minor injuries
- Self-care items
- Telephone nurse access at any hour at 1-866-205-2164
Services that cost a fee:
- Allergy injections
- Lab fees
- Medications
- Routine exams for women’s healthcare
- Pap smears
- Procedures
- Immunizations
- Requested copies of your medical records
Fees are greatly discounted and are due at the time service is rendered. Students are able to pay for services by cash, check, RU Express, MasterCard, Visa or Discover. You will receive an invoice with sufficient information to file an individual claim with your insurance company. Health forms are due by June 1 for students entering in the fall semester and by December 1 for students entering in the spring semester.
