University 100 helps you develop the skills necessary to achieve academic and personal success at the university and become an educated, responsible citizen of a diverse and global community.

This course will:

• Create a learning community that introduces you to friends and the university experience.
• Introduce valuable resources across campus.
• Promote academic success through various activities that appeal to all types of learners.
  
• Promote a variety of specific techniques for learning and self-management.

Faculty and staff from across the university co-instruct the classes with undergraduate students who have previously taken UNIV 100.

If you are transferring from another university or community college, there are sections specifically designed to meet your needs.

Do I need to sign up?

Approximately 83% of students take part in UNIV 100.  It is a program that brings in nationally known speakers as well as takes students outside of the classroom to learn more about Radford University.  Students say the class helps them feel comfortable with the campus and culture as well as how to get involved and become a student leader.
