Tax Compliance

The Tax Compliance Officer ensures University compliance with Internal Revenue Service (IRS) regulations for employee compensation, fringe benefits and tax-deferred annuities, and for non-employee compensation. The Tax Compliance Officer also ensures tax compliance with federal and state regulations for scholarships and payments to international students, faculty, staff and visitors.

The Tax Compliance Officer prepares monthly state and local sales tax reports, and annual tax returns and forms, and when necessary researches tax issues and assists with tax related questions and issues for IRS forms.

Sending Secure Documents

The University is using XMedius SendSecure to securely send and receive highly sensitive documents with entities inside and outside the University. XMedius SendSecure allows for the safe exchange and temporary storage of sensitive files in a virtual SafeBox. Use this link to send any information to the Tax Compliance Officer that has a social security number, driver’s license number, state identification card number issued in lieu of a driver’s license number, passport number, personal banking account information and date of birth.
