Career fair is 9 to 11:30 a.m.; Scheduled Interviews are 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Admission is free for students and $125 for employers. Registration in HireAHighlander recommended, but not required.

    Opening Reception 2/21 at 5pm This exhibit is an annual student competition with numerous awards, including Best in Show in the undergraduate and graduate divisions. The Juried Student Show is open to all Radford University students regardless of major. An opening reception will be held on Thursday, Feb. 21 at 5pm. Admission is free. The RUAM Bondurant Center for the Arts is located at 1129 E. Main St. (upstairs). RUAM Bondurant Center for the Arts hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.; Wednesday 10 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Saturday noon – 4 p.m.; closed Sunday.

    Presenters: Mary W. Atwell, Professor and Chair, Department of Criminal Justice Deneen L. Evans, Assistant Professor, School of Social Work Terry Smusz, Executive Director, New River Community Action, Inc. Moderator: Dana Gregory Rose, Associate Professor, College of Education & Human Development Cornell West and Tavis Smiley electrified campus with their call to action to address issues of poverty. Let's continue the conversation and consider ways we can have a deeper understanding and examine solutions to this systemic issue. Through this conversation, we hope to have action be the end result. All faculty, staff and administrators are invited and encouraged to come ready to engage in meaningful conversations about issues of poverty. Participants are welcome to bring their own lunch. Diversity Dialogue Diversity Dialogue, a monthly discussion group concerning various issues and concepts related to intercultural competency, particularly areas affecting learning, environments, will be held on the third Thursday of the month on the following dates during Academic Year 2012-13: March 21 and April 18.
