As Radford University embarks on its quest for carbon neutrality by 2040, it’s imperative that everyone from the campus community chips in. Our communities depend on it. Our world depends on it. Here’s a list of how students can help! 

For the first time in five years, Radford University students participating in Fraternity and Sorority Life achieved a cumulative GPA higher than those students not involved in campus Greek organizations.

Andrew Pierce, currently the acting chief financial officer for the Peace Corps, encouraged attendees at March's Truist Global Capitalism Lecture to find ways to volunteer their time: “Even if you didn't buy into the altruism... the idea of giving back to your community is a good thing to do."

Radford University is hosting Humanities Days April 5-9 at various locations on and off campus.

Nick Mayhugh ’18, a Paralympic gold medalist and international track star, will serve as the keynote speaker for the Spring 2022 Commencement on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at 9 a.m. and Stacey Price ’99, M.S. ’01, will be the university’s first graduate hooding ceremony keynote speaker set for Friday, May 6, 2022, at 5 p.m.

In 2017-2018, Wyatt Toehlke '18, then a senior political science major at Radford University, spent several months in Ukraine, participating in a study abroad language immersion program at Karazin Kharkiv National University.

Radford University is joining hundreds of universities, colleges, high schools and faith organizations on March 30 for a one-day worldwide teach-in focused on climate solutions and justice. The event is designed to mobilize members of the campus and surrounding communities toward engaging in critical dialogue about climate issues.

Radford University Board of Visitors will consider tuition and mandatory fee rates for the 2022-2023 academic year at their upcoming quarterly meeting on April 28-29, 2022.
