'Meet the Leaders' series features CEO of global search firm

The Radford University chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) will host an online presentation by Gary Burnison, chief executive of search firm Korn/Ferry International, on Tuesday, Feb. 19, at 5:30 p.m. in the College of Business and Economics multipurpose room. The free public presentation is part of BGS's international Meet the Leaders of Business Centennial Speaker Series.

Burnison is also a member of Korn/Ferry's board of directors and has served as chief operating officer and chief financial officer for the executive recruiting firm, which has more than 90 offices in 40 countries. He has written two books. "No Fear of Failure: Real Stories of How Leaders Deal with Risk and Change" features conversations with top leaders in business, politics, education and philanthropy. "The Twelve Absolutes of Leadership" provides inspiration and skills for leaders.

BGS is an international organization that recognizes academic excellence at top business schools, including those accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International. Membership in BGS at COBE is limited to juniors and seniors who rank in the top 10 percent of their class or MBA students in the top 20 percent.
