2 events bring recruiters to RU campus

The Office of Career Services and Community Engagement is hosting two fairs for RU students and alumni looking to take the next steps in their careers.

More than 40 school districts will be represented at the Education Career Fair in the Peters Hall gym at 9 a.m. on Friday. Schools systems will have the opportunity to interview prospective candidates for positions as teachers, counselors, speech and language pathologists, administrators and IT personnel. The fair is open to RU students, alumni and members of the community at large.

On Friday, March 1, Career Services will host its annual Spring Job and Internship Fair. Students and alumni with all majors, including community members with no RU affiliation, may attend the event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Peters Hall gymnasium. Participating recruiters will represent a range of fields, including IT, business, health and communication. For a listing of registered organizations, visit the Career Services website.

For both fairs, job candidates are encouraged to pre-register at HireAHighlander, but registration is not required. Professional dress is required, and a current resume is recommended.
