Students to meet media professionals during Communication Week

Radford University's fourth annual Communication Week, starting on Monday, April 1, will bring communication professionals, many of whom are RU alumni, to campus to engage students in discussions of current issues and events in their field.

Daily events are scheduled through the week at venues across campus, concluding on Friday, April 5, with an advertising and public relations career workshop at 11 a.m. and a media alumni career workshop at noon. Both sessions will be in Heth Hall 014.

The week's events are sponsored by the RU School of Communication, which will host its annual student recognition and awards dinner at 5 p.m. on Friday, April 5, at the Norwood Room on Main Street in downtown Radford. Lynn M. Zoch, director of the School of Communication, will be the moderator.
