Can't choose a major? Pre-major Advising Center has you covered

Radford University's Pre-major Advising Center and the Office of Career Services are offering three "What Can I Do With A Major In _________?" workshops for students who may be having difficulty choosing a career path or major.

The first workshop begins at 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 5, in Walker Hall 225. Subsequent workshops are scheduled for 5 p.m., Wednesday, March 19, in Walker 225; 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 25, in Walker 221; and 5 p.m., Wednesday, April 2 in Walker 225.

Registration is required and can be completed by contacting the Pre-Major Advising Center at premajor@radford.edu or (540) 831-5220.

Before attending the workshops, students must complete the Focus 2 assessment. Further instructions are available by contacting the Pre-Major Advising Center.

The workshops are designed to help students explore career options, majors offered at RU and resources and services offered on campus. Students may participate in career evaluations to gain insight into specific careers and areas of interest. At the workshops, students can also explore salary and other career-specific information relative to their interests.
