COSD names Spring 2015 Class of Therapy Assistants

Fourteen top Communication Sciences and Disorders (COSD) students will gain valuable clinical experience as members of the Spring 2015 Class of Therapy Assistants (TA).

"Academically, these students represent excellence in our program," said COSD Department Chair Diane Millar. "They will be given the unique opportunity to go on the other side of the mirror in our clinic to experience clinical work and assist our graduate student clinicians with therapy, collecting data and preparing materials."

The TAs will be part of the RU Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic (RUSLHC), directed by Rebecca Epperly.

"The TAs will ensure that clients get the full benefit of their therapy experiences, while getting the opportunity to grow and develop as future clinicians," Epperly said.
