Governor McAuliffe appoints RU alumna to 
state council

RU alumna Jeanne Armentrout

Jeanne Armentrout ’81 was appointed to the State Rehabilitation Council for the Blind and Vision Impaired.

Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe announced recently that Jeanne Armentrout '81, executive vice president and chief administrative officer at Carilion Clinic, has been appointed to the State Rehabilitation Council for the Blind and Vision Impaired.

Armentrout, RN, MSN, joins the council that is focused on finding common ground with members of both parties on issues that affect the blind and vision impaired and the vocational services that are provided to them.

Armentrout also serves as a member of the Governor’s Workforce Board.  She holds a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Virginia and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Radford University. She is a Certified Senior Professional Human Resources and a Fellow with the Advisory Board.
