Flu shots to be offered at annual employee fair

The annual Employee Benefits and Wellness Fair will be held on Friday, Oct. 9 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Muse Hall Banquet Room. The fair will feature insurance and investment vendors, informational exhibits and more.

Walgreen's Pharmacy will offer flu shots at no cost to employees who present their COVA health insurance card. In order to accommodate all employees, those not covered by a state health plan will be able to participate on a "self-pay" basis. Flu shots will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis. The vaccine is egg-based.
