City of Radford named a best place to live for teachers

The Blacksburg-Christiansburg-Radford region is the 10th best place in the country for teachers to work and live, according to the GoodCall website.

Local news outlet WDBJ7 reported this accolade last week while interviewing area teachers, including a Radford University alumna.

"I went to school at Radford University and actually did my student teaching in Radford city and instantly fell in love with the place; just the people here, the sense of community," said Lori Keister, a second grade teacher in the city of Radford.
