COMS 699: Research and Thesis

Prerequisites: Approval of student's thesis  proposal by the student's thesis committee and by the dean of the College of Graduate and Extended Education

Credit Hours: (1-6)

A student planning to do a thesis should submit a proposal to the Dean of the Graduate College at least two weeks before the end of the semester preceding the semester when the work will begin. This proposal is submitted on a form, available in the Graduate Office, which must be signed by the student's advisor, by the graduate faculty member who will direct the work, and by the other members of the student's committee.

The thesis in the field of Communication must conform to the style requirements of either the American Psychological Association or the Modern Language Association. The thesis grade will be recorded as "Pass" or "Fail."
