Research and teaching will be supported by the most recent equipment and supplies needed for original research by students and their faculty mentors. Student support funds will provide  opportunities for student travel to present projects and findings at state, regional, national and  international conferences.
 

Scholarships that support students with promising academic potential and financial need enhance the  diversity of students in our programs. Consistently, more than 90 percent of new RU freshmen hail from the Commonwealth of Virginia. Through the Initiative for the Center for the Sciences, Radford University will foster enhanced interest in the sciences and success for Virginia’s future scientists to make a greater impact on the economy and quality of life in our Commonwealth.
