R-SPaCE, or Radford Student Programming and Campus Events, is here for you! We are here to take this campus and make it R-SPaCE with fun and entertaining events, mixed with a little education from time to time. Our purpose at Radford University is to work with other organizations on campus to provide Radford students with entertaining events such as:
- Weekly movies in the Bonnie
- Large concerts such as Taylor Swift, O.A.R., David Cook, Flo Rida, and Third Eye Blind
- Late Night events such as “Girls Night Out” or “80′s Night” held in the Bonnie. All of which feature a late night breakfast.
- Afternoon novelty events such as Build-A-Bear, make your own sign, tie dye t-shirts, and various photo novelties.
- A variety of performers on the Bonnie Food Court stage such as musicians like former Nashville Star contestant Meg Allison, Comedians such as Arvin Mitchel, and Slam Poets such as Taylor Mali.
- Educational events such as Tory Belleci from Mythbusters, Matt Glowacki with “Diversity Through Family Guy and South Park”, and Kevin Roberts the “Food Dude.”
Do you want to join R-SPaCE, or are you a representive looking to cosponser an event? Simply come to the meetings on Wednesdays at 5 p.m. in Heth room 14 (sometimes Heth 22). If you cannot make a meeting we can email you the minutes for each meeting.
