The fundraising arm of the RU Athletics Department is the Radford University Athletics Club (RAC). By providing financial support for the operation of sports programs, RAC maintains an unmatched personal relationship with the university family. Private donations to RAC by alumni, friends, businesses and fans are vital to the long-term growth and success of the university's athletics.
Tax information: According to IRS rules, the priority-seating portion of your annual Radford Athletics Club membership or any contributions, which include an option to purchase priority tickets, may only be 80 percent deductible on your federal taxes. Contributions not associated with priority tickets are normally 100 percent deductible. Please consult your individual tax advisor for specific information related to your Radford Athletics Club contributions. Radford Athletic Club members will receive an official acknowledgment letter and tax receipt from University Advancement/ RU Foundation. Only the individual or company contributing is eligible to take a tax deduction.
