Video and Photo Services
Our video and photo services are dedicated to providing high-quality photo and video, incorporating audio, for student recruitment, promotion, and other outreach purposes for Radford University and RUC; we will follow university guidelines to ensure consistency with the brand. We encourage you to submit requests with as much notice as possible.
Please note that we are unable to meet every request submitted due to the volume of requests made. Priority is given to videos and photos that support the recruitment needs of Radford University. We do not film guest speakers, classes, or other long-format productions.
News and Reporting Services
Our team is responsible for producing and distributing information on the news and events of Radford University. We provide effective, well-written articles about your department or program to assist you in recruiting students, creating awareness, and providing support for the faculty, staff, students, and alumni of Radford University.
To request our services in covering an event or to suggest a news story, please fill out our news form below.
Once we have received the form, we will contact you with any questions. Depending on the suggestion, we may request interviews. Due to the high volume of suggestions, we may not be able to cover every event or write every story.
Our services are provided to campus clients at no cost.

The benefits of working with the media are many, and vital to Radford University. Through the media, Radford University gains access to new, large and important audiences. By highlighting your achievements, we can help build support and understanding for the university.
SPEAKING ON BEHALF OF THE UNIVERSITY
Our associate vice president of university relations serves as the primary spokesperson for the university. However, there may be opportunities for faculty and staff to speak on behalf of the university by showcasing the outstanding work each college contributes to the overall student experience.
To be an effective ambassador for Radford University as you speak to professional colleagues, prospective students and their parents, community groups, media and others interested in the university, it is important that you are aware of Radford University's perspective on current issues and points of university pride, such as key messages, and the latest achievements of faculty and staff, students and alumni.
