Radford Transit is a public transit system providing safe, reliable and convenient public transit to Radford University students, employees and the citizens of Radford.  Professionally operated by New River Valley Community Services (NRVCS), Radford Transit is an established partnership between Radford University, City of Radford,  Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation, and the Federal Transit Administration.

Virginia Breeze provides transportation between the New River Valley and the Washington, D.C. area.  The Virginia Breeze is a new intercity bus service connecting Blacksburg with UnionStation in Wachington, D.C.  The daily route includes several stops in the New River Valley, Shenandoah Valley and Northern Virginia.
