Requests

Music requests are taken, prefer to receive them before the program is put together because, I use my own music collection. Send an email before Friday. Please remember, the song must be within the time frame of 1950 and 2000 and I check the lyrics for radio play.

History

The show was first aired fall 1980 on Saturday night from 9-11 p.m.. I forget when it moved to Friday.

How the show got its name

We were talking about the radio station in Heth. Our radio director, Jennifer Roth wanted a "Rock and Roll" name for this show. I didn't want to get into names, and joked calling it "see you at nine," since it would air at 9. When I arrived to do the show, the name "See You At Nine" was on the program log and it has stuck ever since.

Playlists

Playlists show the diversity of music played on this program as listed below - my generation, relationships, 60s revolution, cars, cities/towns, clothes, food, years and songwriters such as Willie Dixon.

The following playlists are significant to me:

The night before I got married March 26, 1982,
Three days before my daughter was born Dec. 28, 1990,
and the first Friday after JoAnna was born Jan. 4, 1991.
