Beyond the classroom, students engage in Making through a variety of challenges, competitions, workshops, and events sponsored by clubs and other organizations.

"Makers" Projects can happen within or outside of courses. Often faculty and students from different academic disciplines work together, sharing their expertise to collaborate on a project. Many Maker Projects serve a community, business or scientific need.
