Deadlines for Summer Internships

April 15, 2008--Preferred deadline for Summer internship applications

May 5, 2008--Final deadline for Summer internship applications

Remember: You must have obtained the internship before the application can be approved.

Here is the internship process:

1. Contact Sandra Kelly, Internship Coordinator and Adjunct Faculty, to indicate your interest in an internship and to receive the application and internship syllabus. Send her a copy of your resume for review. Her address is sbkelly@radford.edu; telephone: 540-761-1307.

2. Once you have the OK on your resume, begin your search for an internship with the help of the coordinator, as needed.

3. After you have been offered the internship, complete the application with a description of the internship and detailed information on how to contact your supervisor. Also, have your internship supervisor confirm the internship to Instructor Kelly at sbkelly@radford.edu

4. Submit your application for registration. You cannot register yourself for an internship.

IT IS NOT TOO EARLY TO BEGIN A SEARCH FOR A FALL 2008 INTERNSHIP.

Remember: If you want your internship to show up when you register for fall classes, you must have the application approved by the Fall Registration Dates.
