Welcome to the Department of Mathematics and Statistics

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics supports the members of the Radford University community when they need to solve an important equation, model a complicated process, or understand the story hidden in a large data set.

For those who want to focus their studies on mathematics or statistics, we offer Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees with concentrations in Traditional Mathematics (with or without licensure to teach math in secondary schools), Applied Mathematics, and Statistics, as well as a collaborative program with Virginia Tech in engineering. We also offer minors in Mathematics and Statistics. Learn more about our degrees »
