    Meet Radford University student artists. This exhibit is an annual student competition with numerous awards, including Best in Show in the undergraduate and graduate divisions.     Radford University students are selected for the honor to perform based on their previous semester's final jury exams, are then nominated by faculty, complete an audition process, and are chosen by the faculty. These are the students who have achieved the highest level of musical performance for the semester as determined by the faculty. Come and celebrate the achievements of these accomplished musicians!

    Although many of the works in Bill Wightman's Radford University alumnus exhibition are intentionally playful, often behind or beyond this sense of play lie other realms of exploration. For example, in the body of work entitled “Careers I’ll Never Have," the images of Wightman as a professional working in a variety of settings explore his self-realized limitations, whether they be aptitude, abilities, resources, etc. The “faked” scenes also intend to address our own instances of fakery when convincing others of our expertise, skills, etc.

Artists featured include Halide Salam, Feng, Eloise Philpot, Drew Dodson, John O'Connor, Richard Bay, Alison Pack, Ken Smith, Andrew Ross and Brent Webb. Mediums include photography, metals, ceramics, painting in various media, and more.
