    Closing Reception 2/9 at 4 pm The exhibit, a partnership with the School of Dance and Theatre gala, features designs from the flamboyant world of Parisian nightlife. Spotlighted are such internationally renowned artists as Barbier, Wittop and Zig, whose work jointly spanned the worlds of Parisian nightlife, Broadway, cinema and haute couture. University of Georgia Professor Emerita Sylvia Hillyard Pannell will lead a discussion of the works during the closing reception (2/9 at 4pm). Admission is free. The RUAM Bondurant Center for the Arts is located at 1129 E. Main St. (upstairs). RUAM Bondurant Center for the Arts hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.; Wednesday 10 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Saturday noon – 4 p.m.; closed Sunday.

    Aaron Shrewsbury exhibits a series of paintings that explore themes of the unknown and origination. Aaron received his MFA from Radford University in 2006. He has served as the art director at Leisure Publishing of Roanoke, VA and as the assistant art director at C-Ville Weekly in Charlottesville, VA. He is currently enrolled at the Center for Cartoon Studies in Vermont and will receive his degree from there in 2014. Admission is free. Gallery 205 is located in Porterfield Hall and open Monday through Friday 8 a.m.–noon, 1 p.m.–5 p.m.

    Opening Reception 1/31 at 5 pm Weather Report features photographs of changing weather conditions made with a camera obscura by a Polish-Canadian photographer who exhibits internationally. Admission is free. There will be an opening reception on Thursday, Jan. 31 at 5 pm. The Radford University Art Museum at the Covington Center is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. For more information, call (540) 831-5754.
